ATTORNEY GRACIA-JEAN (G-J) MEYER practices law in the areas of estate planning & administration, tax and business, including a focus on non-profit organizations and charitable giving. Her clients range from young couples making their first wills to nonagenarians doing gift and estate tax planning. She handles all sizes of estate administrations and trusts as well as enjoys creating and counseling family foundations. From new entrepreneurs to national charities, she provides advice on a variety of business topics. Her background includes financial & investment planning.
Native to Indianapolis, Ms. Meyer and her brother are fifth generation lawyers in the city. She received her B.A. degree magna cum laude in economics and finance from HanoverCollege and her law degree from IndianaUniversity, where she served on Indiana Law Journal.
Her legal memberships include the Indianapolis and Indiana Bar Associations, Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis, and Christian Legal Society. She currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Planned Giving Group of Indiana and participates weekly in the Indy Womens Golf League.
Civic-minded, Ms. Meyer actively participates in church & mission activities, the Indianapolis Great Banquet, the Indianapolis Athletic Club, Kappa Alpha Theta, and the Women's Fund OPTIONS Program.
Currently, she is Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Exodus Refugee/Immigration Inc. (a non-profit helping resettle international refugees to Indiana) and on the Leadership Team of Priority Associates - Indianapolis (a ministry developing business leaders professionally, personally and spiritually).
An extensive traveler, Ms. Meyer loves to visit new places and meet interesting people. Closer to home, she enjoys various sports, billiards, puzzles, card games, reading, and getting together with friends.
